In recent years, Thomsa Glass has proven to be a ‘court supplier’ to various zoos with TG Heat-vision, electrically heated glazing.

A good example are the new enclosures for the Talapoins monkeys in the Apenheul in Apeldoorn and the new lion enclosure in ARTIS Amsterdam. Here, the heated glass ensures that it is condensation-free, so that an optimal view is guaranteed and visitors can enjoy the lions at a minimum distance.

The glass package consists of 30 mm thick anti-reflective, low-iron, laminated safety glass. Combining the various functions, such as anti-condensation and anti-reflective, but also strong and safe enough to withstand the impact of the lions. This is the specialty of Thomsa Glass.

The electrically heated glass for Amersfoort Zoo was also recently supplied in large dimensions in TG Heat-vision from Thomsa Glass in a glass thickness of 30 mm in an extra clear glass version.
